PROVO – This fall, you’ll see a company sponsorship patch on BYU football uniforms.
BYU athletics announced on Monday that Utah-based company, Entrata, is the first-ever BYU football jersey sponsor.
Utah-based company Entrata will be the first jersey patch partner for BYU football.

Entrata partners with BYU Athletics for the BYU football sponsorship patch
The Entrata logo will appear on all football player game jerseys, starting this fall with the 2026 season. BYU’s release photo places the Entrata logo above the Nike swoosh.
Jersey patch sponsorships are entering their first year, beginning August 1, after the NCAA approved institutions to add them to uniforms as another revenue stream.
Programs such as UNLV have landed eight-figure sponsorships for the patch.
What’s notable about the Entrata logo is that its brand guidelines are red and white. Instead, this logo will feature a blue box with white lettering.
“We are grateful for this new sponsorship with Entrata and excited to welcome them to the BYU Athletics family. Entrata brings great value to BYU Athletics. We are excited about this new relationship and anticipate a bright future,” said BYU athletics director Brian Santiago in a statement.
The maximum size of the patch is four square inches.
BYU Athletics also notes that the jersey patch is the most visible of what is being called a “long-term commitment to BYU Athletics” by Entrata.
Along with the jersey patch, Entrata will also have in-venue branding, digital activations, and fan engagement opportunities. Terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
“To us, this relationship extends beyond having our logo on a jersey,” said Nico Dato, Entrata chief marketing officer. “We are collaborating with BYU on community initiatives across Utah, creating opportunities for student-athletes to engage in service alongside our team. We’re looking forward to the impact we can create together.”
BYU had “a lot of interest” in the sponsorship patch
Back in May at the Big 12 Spring Meetings, BYU AD Brian Santiago told KSL Sports that there was “a lot of interest from a lot of different corporate sponsors in those (BYU) jersey patches.”
Institutions are allowed to have up to two sponsorship patches on jerseys.
Entrata, based in Lehi, Utah, is a tech company focused on property management software.
“Entrata is proud to be a Utah company,” said Adam Edmunds, Entrata CEO, in a written statement. “Much of our team lives here, and we’ve always believed in investing where we are. This relationship lets us work alongside one of the premier programs in the country. We’re excited to be joining Cougar Nation and play our part in what’s ahead.”
BYU football kicks off the 2026 season on Saturday, September 5, against Utah Tech in Provo.
